Fondazione Max Peiffer Watenphul ETS was founded in 2025 with the aim of promoting the protection, study, and dissemination of the work of Max Peiffer Watenphul and of contributing to the enhancement of his cultural heritage.

Enrico Pasqualucci Sammartini, President of the Foundation dedicated to the artist, underlines: »This exhibition represents the first public step of the Foundation. I would like to thank Director Renata Cristina Mazzantini for having welcomed this project with conviction, offering the work of Max Peiffer Watenphul such a high-profile institutional venue. For me, as the artist’s great-nephew, this moment also has a personal meaning: a commitment to transmitting to future generations the spirit, the works, and the letters of Uncle Max, transforming a family memory into a shared cultural heritage.«
